ViralGenHubSwitching from Buffer, Hootsuite or Later
Moving to ViralGenHub takes an afternoon, not a migration project. Here is what moves over, what you redo, what is different, and what we do not have yet.
What moves over, and how
No scheduling tool can hand its connections or posts to another one, so the move is a rebuild. Most of it is quick.

What is different
- TikTok approved our app. When we post to TikTok for you, you choose the audience, the comment, Duet and Stitch settings and whether the content is promotional, as TikTok requires. Nothing is pre-selected. Until TikTok's separate audit is done, TikTok videos go to your TikTok inbox as a draft that you publish in the TikTok app (how it works).
- One calendar for everything. Every post has a date and time on the week or month view, with a preview for each platform. Move it, edit it, or publish it straight away.
- API and MCP on every plan, Free included. Schedule from your own scripts, or let an AI assistant such as Claude or Cursor do it. 100 requests a day on Free, no daily cap on paid plans.
- Pounds, no VAT added. Creator is £7.99 a month or £79.90 a year; Business is £19.99 a month or £199.90 a year. Cancel at any time, and UK consumers have 14 days from buying to end the plan and get the unused part refunded, with one click in Billing. Pricing
- Open source. ViralGenHub is built on Postiz (AGPL-3.0) and our source code is public, so anyone can read how it handles your accounts and content.

What we do not have yet
Honest list, so you are not surprised after moving:
- No comment or message inbox. ViralGenHub schedules and publishes; replies to your posts are handled on each platform.
- 9 platforms are in preview and 9 are coming soon. In preview, which only testers can connect while each platform reviews our app: YouTube, Facebook Pages, Instagram, Threads, LinkedIn Pages, Whop, Mastodon (other servers), Hashnode and Skool. Coming soon: Pinterest, Reddit, Google Business Profile, Medium, Farcaster, TikTok Business, VK, MeWe and Moltbook. If one of them is your main channel, check the badges on the home page before you move. X (Twitter) posting is on the paid plans.
- No one-click import. Posts are recreated by hand or through the API, as described above.
- No separate phone app. ViralGenHub is a web app that works in your phone's browser; add it to your home screen to open it like an app.
