Connect Hashnode

ViralGenHub needs a personal access token, and a blog on Hashnode Pro. This page shows where to get it.

Open the key page

Before you start: Make sure this browser is signed in to the right account (your brand account, not a personal one) before you copy the key.

What you need

A Hashnode account, a personal access token, and a blog on the Hashnode Pro plan.

Steps

  1. Open hashnode.com/settings/developer.
  2. Click Generate new token and copy the token.
  3. Check your blog is on Hashnode Pro. Hashnode's API has required Pro since May 2026. Pro is $5 a month per blog; upgrade in your blog dashboard under Billing.
  4. Paste the token into the API key box in ViralGenHub and click Connect.

Staying safe

Hashnode charges for Pro, not ViralGenHub. Without Pro, Hashnode refuses API posting, so the connection will not work. The token can act on your account, so treat it like a password and revoke it on the same page if you stop using it.

What ViralGenHub stores

The details you enter are stored encrypted. They are used only to post and read basic account information for the channel you connected, and they are deleted when you disconnect the channel. More in the Privacy Policy.
