Connect Bluesky

ViralGenHub needs your handle and an app password. This page shows where to get it.

Open the key page

Before you start: Make sure this browser is signed in to the right account (your brand account, not a personal one) before you copy the key.

What you need

A Bluesky account.

Steps

  1. Open bsky.app/settings/app-passwords.
  2. Click Add App Password.
  3. Name it ViralGenHub and leave Allow access to your direct messages switched off.
  4. Copy the password, which looks like xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx.
  5. In ViralGenHub enter your handle (for example yourname.bsky.social) and that app password.

Staying safe

Never enter your main Bluesky password. An app password can be deleted at any time on the same page, which disconnects it immediately without affecting your account.

What ViralGenHub stores

The details you enter are stored encrypted. They are used only to post and read basic account information for the channel you connected, and they are deleted when you disconnect the channel. More in the Privacy Policy.
